When I started watching the revived series, I was quickly disappointed to learn that Nine's tenure was already ending, because oh, my, did I love Eccleston's Doctor. I ended up feeling that way about Eleven, having fallen in love with him through his family and learning to love him for himself. And Twelve ... for the first couple of episodes I was going, "But ... but Eleventy!"

And then somehow, Twelve became My Doctor, surpassing even Nine and Eleven. What happened? I don't know. But there you are.

And like... Eleven is 'my Doctor', but Twelve has a special place.

Oh wow. How simply beautiful. I love all the interlayering of the different Doctors, all the times they've done and said the same thing. Wow.

Like 'variations on a theme'. And the theme is the Doctor... I would love Classic Doctors to be included also, but then it would become completely unwieldy. Also a lot of it is quite specific to New Who.

But mmmm, so good.
