Goodbye Theresa May
The only sadness I feel is that whoever follows will be even worse. Otherwise I'm with Owen Jones:

2) The name of the first road you remember living on as a kid
3) Your favourite utensil

Sorry but the writers here have really messed up her character arc. There's been absolutely nothing in previous seasons to show she's capable of emotion so this development feels far too rushed. Please sign my petition to re-write the Tory party season finale. https://t.co/p2RVAFyyhY

*sporfle* Oh that's brilliant.
I'm standing on a mandate of taxing foodbanks.
Well, someone's got to. (Although I still don't think it beats Annunziata Rees-Mogg's article on how to profit from the world's water crisis...)

Can you imagine what the Rees-Mogg nursery was like? Beggars belief.

This Twitter thread is pretty good, apart from the bit where he calls her a decent person
Why are we being told to feel sorry for her? She inherited a difficult situation but her choices made it worse. She bears so much responsibility for the mess we are now in. She had the gall to namecheck SIr Nicolas Winton when she created a hostile environment that tears families apart, presided over Yarl Wood and introduced Universal Credit, a source of misery and stress for so many.

Hadn't seen that one, thank you.
And yeah, she has been very very good at making things worse. Constantly targeting the most vulnerable. It just makes me SO ANGRY. >:(

My Tory leadership candidate name is apparently Jane Chapelclose-Whisk. XD

*nods* It's depressing how many of them are still around... They say they'll go a way, and yet, here they are again. :(

This things really works! I'd say you were related to Princess Di, and are an ardent Brexiteer.

Same here. And now they'll all be trying to be worse than Nigel Farage in order to 'appeal to the masses'. *hands*

I think it was more a way to add another surname? Lots of spatulas.

Dude...I was not surprised by her resignation. Only sad for the same reason. Someone worse is gonna have a go now...and can we PLEASE get something done with Labour? Corbyn has gone off his nut...ye gods.
And yes, that clip of Owens was played on AM Joy on MSNBC (a network here) and I clapped at his response. Thank you...and bravo, sir!

Like someone said, it's like trying to choose the new ruler of Westeros, except they're all Joffrey.

Corbyn is just doing what he's always done. His principles are perfectly fine, he just doesn't seem able to look beyond them.

It earned him a Twitter follow from AOC!! I don't think he'll ever have a better moment.
