True. I find the comedians in the US and the UK were nailing out the issues long before anyone else...and isn't it terrible we get more tackling of rough issues in comedy BEFORE the 'more serious' arenas acknowledge potential problems?

Meh. I digress.

It seems that the aware, awake and thinky people were on this from the jump. Of course, they had to take insults for being awake, aware and thinking, which is a sad state of affairs to be honest: when critical thinking and questions are 'elitest' we have fallen FAR down the ladder, methinks.

I remember you called this out and I was so proud if you!!! It boggles how people say and do such stupid things, then when they get called on it, they have to think it through. The fact that they 'forgot' this would affect you shows a lot about their own issues and how far down the rabbit hole they fell. It is sad and terrible - and too indicative of the hate and 'otherism' that has become so common (and deliberately cultivated) the last several decades. It has always been there, but it has never been so blatant and the reasoning so backwards and ignorant. I can only hope they are thoroughly ashamed of themselves at this point.

I was able to read. It very much laid out the issues and how they came about. I learned a few things that I did not know...and I feel sorry for the UK more than ever.
