I was talking about last night's Torchwood. It was actually very enjoyable! :)

(The 'plot' was very obvious, but I liked how it was done, and all the characters were interesting this week!)

Me too. :) It was a bit formulaic, but I thought we learned more about who Toshiko is in "her" character-centric episode than we did about some of the others in theirs.

Interesting that like Angel, Jack is also immune to telepathy... and Tosh got the sense that he was dead when she tried to read his mind! Hmm.

Over on forum.rpg.net there were some complaints about "gratuitous lesbian titillation" in this episode - but as someone else pointed out, nobody ever complains about "gratuitous heterosexual titillation" such as last week with Gwen/Owen, and why not?

It was a bit formulaic
The beginning pretty much spelled out how it was going to go - but, as you said, the Toshiko stuff was intersting enough to make up for it. :)

My reaction? 'He's just like a vampire OMG!!!!' *g* But they should try to make Jack a little less angsty - he's more fun when he's, well, fun!
