I'mma be honest, it's no masterpiece, but Guardians of the Galaxy was probably amongst the stronger half of the ones I've seen. Well, I don't know who I'd feel if I'd watched the whole thing.
Chris Pratt is always amusing, the music is great, there's some good subversive humor to it. The plot is . . . eh, it's a Marvel plot. But it's no worse than any of the other movies for it. I just found it painfully generic in every way. :(
I did find it slightly more engaging this time because Agents of SHEILD got deep into the Kree (the blue aliens--Karen Gillan is one) so all of the space politics were mildly more interesting. You are doing a good job of selling your show, I have to give you that!
