Yeah, I'm kind of scared too. Very little Angel and Spike. No Anya or Cordy. I'm not sure I can take 25 comics worth of Buffy, Xander, Willow, and Dawn.

We will? Doesn't Joss say she's not in Rome anymore? My impression from his comments were that this was pretty much going to start post-Immortal. And yeah, while I might be one of the few Spuffy fans who LOVES TGIQ, I really have no need to learn more about him.
In the Buffy spin-off TV series Angel, it was established that the Slayer was living in Italy and dating. The new comic fleshes out her time abroad, ''as we want to keep everything canon and in line with the shows.
So we might see the other side of 'Damage' and TGiQ... Re The Immortal I'm just curious to see if he's good or evil, and he's playing Buffy or the other way round. Or if it's just a bit of fun...
I actually hope he's not evil. Buffy got so much crap from fandom over all that. I'd love it if he was actually a good guy. Of course, I also want their relationship to be a total fling as well. Heh.

I don't want The Immortal to be drawn, everybody pictures him as this glorious guy (if not a good guy) so whatever they come up with, I'm sure I'll be disappointed.

I can't but see the comics as another fanfic now, and I have a very strong opinion what should and what should not happen there, so I will be afraid to read it. Or not. ;)

My guess is that it'll be like any fanfic writer setting up their post-Chosen scenario.
