:-) It is a very lovely insight and I hadn't seen it anywhere else! Also I just realised what it reminded me of - there's a Jewish saying, from the Talmud, that if you save one life it is as if you have saved the whole world. That sort of goes hand in hand with this, with Eleven's 'I've never met anyone unimportant', and with Twelve's 'they're never small to me' - which he SAYS right at the beginning, but only really starts to *act on* after Clara mellows him out a bit.
