I think, all Bill-like, I’d told myself that the ending we got was as good as we were going to get and to be happy with it.
Except ‘I’m glad you knew I was a lesbian’ and going off to die and then everybody thinks everybody else is dead is a crap ending, and we all know it.
And while, yes, becoming a watery lesbian space goddess is a far better ending than being a dead cyberman, it wasn’t Bill and Heather whose relationship we’ve been investing in for twelve episodes.

omg I had the same reaction. My heart just LEAPT when she showed up. As excited as I am for Twelve & One hanging out, and for all the cool stuff they're doing reconstructing original episodes (and I am VERY excited) I really, really, really hope it doesn't overshadow Bill and her adventures. My only real criticism of the finale episode was that Bill didn't get enough to do - between Twelve and Nardole and Missy and the Master and the oncoming cybermen and the actual PLOT, there was a lot of other stuff going on that competed for her screentime. I hope she gets the departure she deserves, because she is SO PERF.
It features something I think most people will assume given the announcement of 13 :) But I've accidentally spoilered people before and I don't want to be That Person again :)
