Flashmob
I think I was going to write something about 'Flashmob, The Opera' (performed once, live, on Paddington Railway Station), but instead I'm just going to put in a link to the BBC's website, where you can read all about it (including info about what a flashmob is). So, info here.
It was shown on BBC3 a few days ago and I'm sure they'll show it BBC1 or BBC2 at some point, so look out for it. The story is a bit thin, but the tenor is SPECTACULAR. I was blinking away tears at the end. But before that it's good fun - especially watching the jaded, jaded London travellers. A man walking around on the tube singing with a camera crew in tow and a musician playing a piano accordion, and people don't even look up from their books/newspapers. Hee!
