I received a letter from Lord Sugar today, asking me to vote Remain. This almost feels like rubbing salt in the wound, as I of course can't vote, being Danish. (Nevermind that I've lived here for 20 years. Btw I don't have any particular reason for not becoming a British citizen, except for being able to live here without any issues ever, because of being in the EU and never having £600-800 spare...)

So the Trump mania is... small enough, to presumably be contained. If it carries on like it is now, Hillary will win in a landslide. Whereas here... :(

That Guardian article about Jo Cox you posted yesterday put it well when they said that we're living in the age of "post-fact politics". Politicians have always lied, but at least they used to pretend that it mattered whether what they said was true or not. Now we're stuck with a bunch of populists whose only message is "Be afraid. Be very very afraid of everything, and I'll protect you."
