The subject line is one reason why you should watch Upstart Crow. :)
For those unfamiliar, it's a new sitcom by Ben Elton, and a bit like Blackadder but with Shakespeare, and the wit is less biting and more cozy. But then Shakespeare (played by David Mitchell ♥) is a much nicer person than Blackadder.
One of the things I like the most is that it doesn't just centre on his life in London - his family in Stratford are well represented, as can be seen in this little teaser trailer:
And every episode ends with Shakespeare and his wife, in front of the hearth, with a pipe each, reflecting. Honestly, it's just so delightful!

Also, the only other thing I’ve seen Liza Tarbuck in is two episodes of Qi, but I really like her Anne Hathaway. And was that really John Sessions as the Chief Inquisitor? And Shakespeare writing Marlowe’s plays instead of the other way around? Oh, it’s an utter delight.

I'm sure I've seen her in other things, but yes, she's wonderful.

Looked like it. :)

Told you so, I believe. And I think it's a lift we all need.
