I thought as much but I couldn't think of another way to acknowledge it. I was discussing about how Rose influenced the Doctor in good and bad ways right?.
Yes, basically. She was good, but also quite immature. And dear god, did he have issues, but she was his ticket to just running away from it all.

Is that the Eleventh quote referring to the fact that his memories or feeling towards his former champions change when he regenerates?
I think it's more to explain how he feels towards Amy at that moment. That she is, essentially, a part of him, that she influenced who he became on a very very deep level. A lot like he influenced her - they 'grew up together'. With Rose (and I have discussed this in detail with... darn, I forget the name - anyway, Ten's issue was that he wanted/tried to be human, subconsciously modelling himself on Rose, because she was what saved him.

Before reading it, I would have just thought Westley was getting some character development like Cordelia
I think Wesley vies with Spike for the character who has the longest journey, character-wise.

When I saw that scene, I was thinking at that moment that I wasn't always going to like this version of the Doctor. I thought Rose should have questioned him on it but we all know why she didn't.
I once summed up RTD (RTD's Doctor Who) in 25 words:

EVERYONE IS A MONSTER, EVEN THE DOCTOR. EXCEPT HE IS WONDERFUL, BECAUSE HE'S THE HERO. [error error does not compute and Bowie Base One explodes]

It's rather meta, but I am very pleased with it because there is that push-and-pull within Ten's character. He's the good guy, but he does terrible things. What he did to Harriet is a brilliant example. Oh, and I found this Tumblr post which also highlights that same thing. (Ten was, basically, a bit of a hypocrite.) It makes for an interesting character, but I often had the uneasy feeling that RTD was writing himself into corners. Whereas with Eleven, his hypocrisy is tackled head-on. (Most specifically in AGMGTW.)

The last scene between Westley and Fred, he was so remorseful. She can hear him crying through the door, almost knocks, then decides to leave him be is so sad.:(
Oh god yes, that was awful. :(

I think that song/fanvid "handlebars" sums up Ten most of the time. I played that song on a car ride with my brother and he thought it sounded similar to an "Eminem" song. It starts out lighthearted than escalates to angst.
Handlebars is THE vid.
