Cheerier :)

Hillary Clinton’s quiet revolution
Nobody's noticed, but she's running on an ambitious plan to remake the American social compact.

Samantha Bee Has a Shockingly Believable Conspiracy Theory About Donald Trump

I'll need to read the Vox article later, thamk you! I have seen Sam Bee's video, the woman is an international treasure. Taking the reins of her own show has been the best thing she's done.

I have got to calm down about this because instilling fear is EXACTLY what the alt right wants. However, it's also inspired rage in me that this is going on. And I hope it does in others. The other day on FB I saw tons of people logging on and commenting during Hillary's speech in AZ to say they were voting for her, they love her, we've got her back etc, and trying to drown out the comments that used to dominate - the haters, the trolls, etc. That's encouraging, but will enough people be mad enough to come to the polls and make a difference?

Okay but what if ... Samantha Bee is right? She has evidence and Donald Grump seems like the kind of person who can't read! TRUE FACT!!

Oh Samantha Bee. A woman after my own heart. The writer from what I'm guessing is the Apprentice?...scary. You could pretend it was all just fun and games until then.

I was laughing until I saw the scriptwriter for The Apprentice...

Samantha Bee has a very valid point there...

Trump always accuses everybody else of his own flaws; so if he starts tweeting that Samantha Bee can't read, we'll know for sure that it's true.

LOL, I saw that Samantha Bee theory. It definitely seems credible, I mean people are saying it and that's what counts. :)

That Vox article was excellent. Was also deeply cheered by this Atlantic one.

Sam Bee's segment made me wonder why we haven't seen speculation about this before.

But overall am just kinda done with the election coverage. Seeing the election, and therefore the world, being menaced by yet another dude who couldn't keep it in his pants broke me. Please, please just make it Tuesday already /o\

I did love her theory...it makes oddles of sense, really.

*HUGS*

The Latino and AA communities are going to save us this year. We should all be immensely grateful.

It's ironic that the Repubs could have chosen to seek out the things they share in common with the concerns in "minority" communities (Latinos in the US traditionally leaned Repub) but they've hunkered so far down on their Southern Strategy that they've driven everyone away but their "base". They've lost touch with the electorate, with world politics right now and I have not an ounce of sympathy for them.

Well, considering his Big Words are actually about 200 altogether and his level of understanding is even lower than THAT...I don't think we're going to be able to get him to read even a sentence unless someone feeds it to him first. *headdesk*

Screw all the drama. Am v. excited today. Let's make Hillary president!

Nearly there. And now we've had Queen Bey in a pantsuit.
I love how the pantsuit has become a political statement.

Absolutely! :))
