Now and again I remember that I wrote a Pern (crack) fic featuring Spike and Angel, and I am happy.

I loved the Pern series as a young woman, especially the first two (and possibly the third and fourth as well); the idea of Buffieth ... Oh. My.

I've never read the Pern books (I know, I should), but Buffy as a dragon and Spike as her person is adorable.

I remember when you posted that and, I'm sad to to admit, I didn't ever read it because it just seemed entirely too cracktastic an idea. Now I'm kicking myself, because that worked surprisingly well! And sort of made me want to know what happened next...

Confession time: Pern was one of my early fandoms along with Doctor Who. I even belonged to the official fan club back in the mid-80s, assigned to Telgar Weyr (I had a brown dragon named Tath) (Yes, I really have always been this geeky).
