Because these are gorgeous scenes...
This one is where my (new) icon is from, because it's one of those amazing heart-stopping moments:
And then the scene that I have re-watched... countless times. Nothing is said, yet what is communicated in nothing but looks and glances is astounding. Aidan Turner especially is incredible. He doesn't move, yet we see his whole world changing as he realises that he loves her.
(And from the book, as Demelza gets ready to sing: Contrast with Elizabeth: gone was the halo and in its place the dark crown of humanity.)
Also, I have kept meaning to mention this, but Demelza reminds me a lot of Merida, from Disney's Brave. The free spirit, who can nonetheless rise to the occasion if needs be. But more vulnerable.
