Made myself late to the gym last night reading the Atlantic article; excellent stuff! There are several people in my life I wish I could force to read that (sadly, would not change their attitudes).

Also almost made myself miss my ride to work this morning reading one of the articles on 50 Shades of Grey you posted elsewhere. Darn it, you really need to stop it with the thinky links!

Made myself late to the gym last night reading the Atlantic article; excellent stuff!
It's just been awarded the George Polk Award for Commentary. And Ta-Nehisi Coates is one of my favourite bloggers. He's been reading/writing about black issues/the history of slavery for years, and it was wonderful to see him do something so 'big' for lack of a better word.
