BBC making fanvids...
I love it when this happens. This is Foxes singing 'Don't Stop Me Now' from Mummy On The Orient Express, but rather than have it as a straight performance they've turned it into a vid. And because they're the BBC, there's even snippets of future episodes:

I adore movie scores! And Murray Gold's music. I tend to listen to music when I write - I want a mood or sound that feels right, so I tend to listen to stuff that I do have to concentrate on. Mind you, it depends - sometimes specifics stories have specific songs attached to them. :)
The first people I could understand really well with my rudimentary English were Tony Christie and Frank Sinatra. One more reason for me to be a JB fan - he has great diction, you can understand every single word!
Guess that's from being in musicals - everyone has to understand you.
Have you ever heard "And I love you so" before?
I hadn't - it's very him!
Then again, I also did not know "From this moment" or even "Rule the world" before John sang it, so I really am no measure ;) Seeing them live in concert is a memory I'll never forget.
I can imagine!
My newest newfound song through him is "Skyscraper" from his recent CD. I work in the building industry so it is perfect. And I really like the melody as well.
Heee. That's very handy.
I admit I am also kinda sorta a van Gogh fan now because of Doctor Who... Plus I read the biography of Casanova because of the TV series with David Tennant - I wanted to know what is real and what made up. A lot of it surprisingly was real! David is also the reason for me going to the theatre much more and having become a Shakespeare fan. His Hamlet blew me away. Never say a sci-fi series was not educating!
Indeed! And sci-fi is usually crammed full of references also.
