All your good wishes obviously made a difference, because yesterday was one of the easiest journeys we've ever had. Long, obviously, but everything went smoothly, trains and planes were on time, children behaved, nothing was forgotten and we arrived safe and well. :)

Will do my best to catch up on comments and read my flist, when I can find the time, but right now it's just lovely to have lots of peace and quiet! *happy sigh* Oh - and Darcy brought S3 of Buffy! Wheee! Maybe in a couple of centuries time he'll even begin to get interested in fandom... *g*

And a Happy Birthday to lilachigh tomorrow! Have a brilliant day with much Spike-y goodness. *hugs*

ETA: Catching up brought me back to skip=180! How did that happen??? I need to de-friend some communities or something... woe.

I wouldn't bet on it. J loves the series, is a huge Spike fan, makes intelligent observations about what's going on, but is completely uninterested in anything fannish. I think he takes the view that it's a TV series and there to be watched not read about!

Thank you so much for your good wishes for birthday tomorrow! And glad your journey was so straightforward. My family’s ‘we’ll come and take you out to lunch’ has changed overnight to ‘we’re all coming for lunch!’ Spot the difference?

Five adults and six children about to descend when I haven‘t finished unpacking yet from my holiday! But fear not, they are bringing salad and quiche. Oh yes, that’s really going to feed a lot of people!
