Ohhh, damn...seems those people did more than just censor our television and radio at that time. They censored the children and the potential for understanding and embracing the differences and similarities for all human beings. That is sad and terrible.

I think I love Colin Stokes. I think I adore him. I think that men should definitely learn that 'being a girl' is okay. That women have their own strengths and abilities (and it's not just getting a man or being a shiny gold trophy at the end of a story). I think women should learn they can lead as well as follow, that they can find the strengths in others and foster it - I think humans as a whole should stop fearing each other and fearing our potentials and start celebrating them. We can all move forward together as a team better if we stopped thinking/reacting/behaving in such destructive ways. I just..this was wonderful, thank you.
