First of all - GIP! Isn't this icon the most adorable thing you ever saw?

Secondly: [livejournal.com profile] a_phoenixdragon explains why she loves Eleven:

When I tell people that Eleven is my favorite Doctor, people automatically assume that I like him because he’s silly and quirky, while in reality, those traits have very little to do with why I like him.

This is my current favourite piece of music:

And a petition:

It's Never the Child's Fault. (Trigger warning: this petition text contains references to sexual assault that may be triggering to survivors.)

This story made me so angry when it broke a few days ago that I couldn't even write about it.

ETA: Knew I was forgetting something (with thanks to [livejournal.com profile] maggietimelord):

I saw it and HAD to have it...
What is that notion of resisting icons? :D

Yup. Pimping was my version of commenting!
That was a nice idea ^_^

I am not familiar with Perfume, must investigate.
Book, movie and soundtrack are all fabulous.

God forbid that GROWN MEN should come across predatory 13 year olds. However will they defend themselves. /angry sarcasm
*shakes head*

I need... MOAR!
ALWAYS MORE! (Right now I feel the need for gif icons, I don't have enough… This might be a dangerous new obsession…)

It is one I have used frequently! *g*
^_^ Lately I've been using messaging-for-commenting, but pimp is great too!

Ah yes, I remember now. Have seen... parts of the film. Interesting, but distinctly odd.
Very odd, yes. Basically, when I finished watching the film I walked around for the next hour feeling like I was still half in another world =P I only read the book afterwards, and it worked really wonderfully, at least for me—I could really immerse myself in the movie's incredible atmosphere with no preconceptions ("Why did they cut that part out???"), but afterwards I discovered the novel and it was just incredible.
