Poor Alex. I don't know how he'd handle it better. He is a god and mere mortals are confusing. He wanted to be normal and succeeded for three years.
*nods* Although he's been pretending to be human his whole life. It's not surprising that he defaults to that given the opportunity. (And the fact that he's stuck.) Plus, throughout he's been battling with the knowledge that he'll lose her sooner or later. And which is worse?

Alison needs to decide if he's worth the effort. And if she is willing to handle the truth. He is still that amazing man. Now, she just knows why.
There was never going to be an easy solution, and right now Allison needs a lot of time, just to sort through everything. She reacted more out of instinct than anything else, but she's a very rational person. Maybe she'll come round... Because she was thoroughly dazzled for that whole day. He *is* wonderful and incredible and all the rest. She just needs to understand how it all fits together.
