Vid rec: Castle of Glass

Ever since I first heard this song, I've thought it's so very Doctor Who. Went looking for vids, and this is what I found (spoilers up to 7.05 - The Angels Take Manhattan):



I'd still like to see a longer vid, incorporating the second half of S7, because I think there's just a lot you can do with that song. But for now, this makes me happy.

Oh, I can see why it would make you happy; very nicely put together with a pretty, but baseline creepy, tune. And it makes me happy, too.

In that "BAAAAAWWWWWLLL" sense of happy, because I am still living in several different stages of denial about Amy and Rory and Eleventy and ... and ...

I think it fits Eleven especially, as he's trying to move away from who he was, starting over, erasing himself and learning to live again...

Just reading the lyrics I'm flashing back to Rings of Akhaten (Wake up! Live!) Which is why I'd like to see something more up-to-date, as it were.
