I've loved this song so, so hard since it has come out. Have a DW vid that I (combed obsessively) for, named a fic with a line from the chorus and-and...yes. This song is perfection!
Isn't it awesome? I had a thought a while back to make the avatar girl's costume for DragonCon, only I never started it, and I'm not even sure I'm going to D*C this year. But yes, it's fantastic! I love the old mountain statues and the undersea creature; and the whole thing is so epically creative.
I thought it might have been a Eurovision song (it's very Eurovision-y), but it isn't and I've been going quietly mad wondering why it was familiar...
ETA: The official video is so completely different (and brilliant in its own way) that my mind never joined the dots at all. And with the lyrics I was thinking more along the lines of Doctor/River (in the light of The Name of the Doctor). So thank you! <3
I'd been hearing that one on the radio a long time before I saw that vid, and while I always liked it well enough (so catchy), that vid came along and instantly owned it. So, yes, to me it is completely an Eleven/Amy song.
ETA: in other news, guess who's on drugs now and can bend at the knees again \o/
Probably more like two, two and a half? There's nothing like chronic pain to make you appreciate how great *not* being in chronic pain feels. Absolutely the best feeling in the world.
