Oh, that's awesome!

Despite everything, I rather adore the BBC. <3

As well you should!

I got rid of cable last fall, so the only real-time all-new channel I get is over the internet (via my roku) BBC world service. I know a while lot more about Prince Phillip than I ever had any need to know, but I did watch the Queen visit the new BBC headquarters! It was kind of fun!

J was outside BH and saw the Queen. He was very chuffed as the last time he saw her he was 8. That was a loooong time ago :)

Loved the bit on Harris tweeds. One bummer about menopause is not being able to wear wool... does not mix with hot flashes. : / Still, it was fun to see the Doctor as a reason why tweed is suddenly popular. : ) Plus, it's just cool seeing a traditional skill like that being passed down to a new generation.

Ohhh, saw the first one, but not the second - thank you for that!

She is delightful (and adorable, needless to say, lol)

I'm not surprised that tweed has become the rage. I've noticed that bowties shot up in popularity the last few years. Even before I sat down, quit sulking and watching the 'new Doctor' I noticed bowties were starting to pop up everywhere, lol!
