ETA: Does anyone remember/have a link to an awesome Darla essay that I can remember reading, but didn't bookmark? It will have been written a good few years ago, and was laid out chronologically (as in, following Darla's timeline), as far as I recall.
ETA2: Still in my rabbit hole apparently. Went and readspuffyduds' I'm Not Supposed to Be Like This which is Spike and Darla meeting inbetween seasons (S2 & 3 of AtS and S5 and 6 for BtVS), and it is still as amazing as ever. *deep sigh* Oh show(s).
I'm sure there was more, but I'm half-asleep. And I'm trying to get my head around trying to sort out the final chapter of My Immortal 2 (which HATES me, even though I have a proper draft and everything), so I watched Behind Blue Eyes because it is my 'Immortal' vid and oh, that was another rabbit hole... (I could CRY at how unsatisfactory Miracle Day was in the light of what came before, but I won't. Esp since I can't write this chapter for the life of me, so I don't have the right to throw stones.)
