frenchani has helped set up salon_virtuel. It aims to provide a convenient and comfy place for intellectual exchanges and a Republic of Letters- an old humanist idea that may have reached its peak during the 18th century.

bellanut has one of the most fantabulous pic spams *ever*: Ten Vs Mal (Spoilery for all of Doctor Who & Firefly + Serenity - just to be on the safe side!)

I didn't help much with the layout and customizing, but I gave the idea of the site and filled the userinfo page, found the tags, etc. BTW I'm still waiting for someone to tell me how many mistakes I made in English...

Oh I loved it - and strangely it felt like a very familiar plot bunny. I could almost feel writing it (not that I had the same idea, but I think you constructed it similarly to how I'd do it or something - I can't really explain what I mean).

Well sunshine means I can chuck the children outside, so that's good! :)

thanks for the recs! I'd spotted Nightswimming on su_herald, but the Ten Vs Mal and Simon was priceless - had to show the boyf it as well, and he rated it "cool" *g*

I'd completely missed the Ten Vs Mal rec originally, and only spotted it when I looked back through my flist to finds recs. I was very happy. :)
