elisi | Is it 2010 yet?

So, yesterday, I

copperbadge linked to more photos of Eleven, which I went and looked at and then got spoiled. 'Only' a casting spoiler, but... well, it made me happy. :) Under the cut a bit of nattering about Eleven's look and this spoiler!

It's River!!!!!!! Squeeeeee!!!! I've wanted to see River/Eleven ever since she first appeared, and there she is! Life is good and I am happy!

As for Eleven's outfit, then I'm beginning to think that it really works. Ten (bless him!) is such a peacock, but it'd make total sense for him to regenerate into someone more subdued/clueless. And since he *looks* so young, having him dress 'his age' (as it were) works beautifully. Someone at Sam's described it thus:

The top half is very old mannish, and the bottom half is all 'this is what you young people are wearing, right?' and it comes out very confusing. The Doctor has no idea how to dress his old/young self!

It just makes me smile.

Anyway, we're off to York for the day, so have fun without me! :)

PS. Did no one like my Jack meta from yesterday? I thought it was rather neat...
