I am SLEEPY and my children will not stop asking me to do stuff/get stuff/help with stuff etc etc! ::silent screams::

But instead of moaning I'm going to direct you toward funny stuff!

spuffyduds wrote a hilarious drabble (a response to the prompt 'funny non-con'): Surprise!

And stoney321 has made a wonderful, wonderful post: Jossverse Fandom and Kerfuffles in a Nutshell (Because if we can't laugh at ourselves, we should laugh at others.)

But I need to tear myself away from here and do the washing up. *sigh*

ETA. Some positive stuff:

- I think spring is *finally* here. It's mild and I've seen loads of daffodils today.

- The house is still fairly tidy, even considering that it's a storage place for fencing.

- Darcy putting nice fencing around the garden.

- The way babies babble so cutely and LOVE labels! (Note to people with no children: When buying a cuddly toy for a baby, make sure it has a nice big label. This will be the central point of focus!)

- The fic that hated me has been written! It still needs an ENORMOUS amount of work, but the at least now I have something to work with.

- Easter is getting nearer, which means that Impish Girl will soon start full time school! OMG the freedom!

BTW I may sound like a Beotian but could you explain to me what that "teh" thing I often see on LJ comes from?

Um people misspelling 'the'? And then using it (deliberately) as some sort of signifier of greatness. I think.

Like when people who are perfectly capable of spelling write in net-speak (see icon) to mock. It's all very peculiar!

Maybe it's because English is not my mother tongue, and I always feel bad for mistyping and making typos...so the idea of doing it on purpose is confusing.
