I am soooo busy. But I'm happy. :)
This is possibly because of the beautiful sunshine (it comes attatched to the frost, but hey - shiny!).
Anyway, Darcy is at home feeling unwell (came home early from work yesterday and has been horisontal since). Baby Blue Eyes is also a bit grouchy, and my throat has given up working, so I'm trying to talk as little as possible. The house has done that odd thing of turning from mostly tidy, to very messy in the blink of an eye - which of course wasn't helped by me hardly being able to do anything about it last night - especially since I had to try to sort out Little Miss M's costume for today (World Book Day - she went as Ruby the Red Fairy which was thankfully quite easy do).
And yet I'm a happy little camper - maybe it's because Lent has started and it's about enduring difficult stuff and giving up things you want, all with a smile on your face. Maybe it's listening to Michael Bublé's 'Feeling good' far, far too many times! :) (Thank you
poshcat.)
My only problem is that it is *impossible* to keep up with my flist. I try to read most things, but I just do not have the time to comment (and I will catch up on the last comments to the essay, just give me time...). So hugs to some of you, and squees to others and congratulations to those of you who won pretties.
Oh, and on the bus home from picking up Impish Girl from nursery I picked up the Metro newspaper and found an interview with Joss Whedon. :)
Lastly, Darcy has spent all morning on the sofa under a blanket, re-watching Veronica Mars, so I've half-watched some of it, whilst trying to bring order to the place. Very enjoyable show indeed - and I do love how well she's written.
But now I must go get us all some lunch. See you later! ::smooches::

And I'm thrilled you like that song! You should try to find the video online, as Michael is quite the performer, too. ::lusts after his young self:: I would LOVE to see him in concert.
::pinches your bum just for fun::

Yup. I'm sure it'll be really good! :) A lot of people want him to do a Buffy-film or more Firefly, but I think that Wonder Woman would be so much better for making him a big name. Which he should totally be - can you believe that George Lucas was nominated for best screenplay??
And there was a quiz? ::runs off to look::
You should try to find the video online
Oooh I might just try that! Handsome men who can sing are always a good thing in my book.
Oh! You naughty thing!

It's always easier when they want something you can get together with little trouble - Bethan was easy to do also, she wanted to be Hermione Grainger, so went in her normal uniform plus tie (49p from Salvation Army shop) and a velvet Gryffindor coat borrowed from a friend.
Maybe it's listening to Michael Bublé's 'Feeling good' far, far too many times!
It's impossible to listen to any of Michael Bublé's songs too many times - he's got such an amazing voice (and does that one so well).
I'm glad your happy - that's always nice to hear.
*hugs*

And I now feel an urgent need to get more of his songs! Which can only be good.

Well, this is another of his that I really love (an original composition rather than a cover)

Hope the yousendit thing has worked properly. I've got one of his CDs too, which I'm happy to copy and send to you if you would like me to. Just email me spikereader@yahoo.co.uk

And I'd *love* his cd. Will e-mail you when I have another spare minute!

Don't you hate it when that happens? I'm glad the sun is shining on you, though, and I hope you and yours feel better soon.
I read your essay and meant to comment, but, um, stuff happened and I didn't. But I did enjoy it and was very impressed, as I'm so not an essay writer. DT is one of my favorite episodes. And I didn't realize that you hadn't watched Buffy from the beginning. I think it must be a totally different experience. Probably much less stressful. ;-)

Oh yes. I regularly point out that it doesn't seem fair that 4 people create mess, but I'm the only one who tidies up! But that's a rant for another day.
And thank you for reading my essay - being so bad at commenting myself I understand perfectly. And I *did* watch the show from the beginning, just never knew about all the
crazylovely people out here in cyberspace! Which was in many ways a blessing. ;)no subject

Me too! Dunno how I coped before!
