Christmas came early!!!! My wonderful, amazing husband just brought home a cat!!!! He's all black and called Spike!!!!! More squee!

Good for you! I'm a cat person myself--dogs are noisy and have a tendency to lay a mean stink on things. Black, though? You'll have to be careful not to step on it at night. :)

Aww, kitty! What a wonderful surprise to get! I hope we'll get to see some pictures of him at some point. Do you know how old he is?

There'll definitely be pictures at some point! And he's around one year old (he was abandoned, and one of my husband's work colleagues' sister took him in).
