Jossing my own fic...
This is mostly for those who read 'Because Cavemen Have Fire' as I was posting it. I wrote it very quickly, which meant that once I got to the end I realised there was one tiny bit that would need changing - nothing huge or major, but it needed fixing, so I did so in the original post and those who read it after it was finished should have read the fixed version. The reason I mention it now, is because the Phoenix ficlet (= prequel) is almost beta-ready, and my ret-con will now be somewhat important. So for those who are curious, here it is! (Spoilers for fic below cut - obviously.)
It's a part of Spike and Angel's conversation from chapter two, after Buffy's fallen asleep. This was the original:
Determined to change the subject, Angel asked, "What did you mean she's unshockable?"
Spike sighed. Well, there was no point in forcing the subject of Connor now... he'd find the right time soon enough.
"Well she and I did pretty much everything. There is not a single thing you and I have done this past half year that would make her so much as lift an eyebrow."
"Really?" Angel asked, stunned. "Nothing?"
"Nope."
"Not even...?"
"Please!" Spike's voice dripped with contempt.
"Buffy?" Angel said, as though questioning her whole being. Spike shook his head.
"Sorry to burst your bubble, but she's all grown up now. Not saying that what she and I did was in any way healthy or good, but... it happened. And - as I told you before - it was bloody amazing!"
All very lovely, but once I bothered to think about what Spike and Angel had been getting up to... well... *lifts eyebrow*
This is how the new version goes:

"Well she and I did pretty much everything - so as far as the sex goes I can't think she's too freaked out. Not a little girl anymore, trust me. I mean she was almost teasing us about it! As for the other stuff..."
He caught Angel's eyes, holding them for a moment, before biting his lip and looking back down at Buffy. "Well, what she doesn't know about she can't be shocked by..."
Figured there had to be a reason why they refused to tell Buffy about what they got up to! If you're wondering - well, a snippet is on it's way! :)
But, I have a RL to attend to. Why won't fandom pay? *sigh*
