But we got the grandparents to chip in (these things are expensive), and she's a very happy girl. <br /><br />Went to York for the day (always a nice day out!) and had booked an escape room this afternoon - and then had family round in the evening. (It's not hers, it belongs to the school.) She practised enthusiastically for 3 hours...<br /><br />In much better news, I had THE most awesome dream last night. It's difficult to remember specifics, but in short, Missy was my mother. Since it is a Dress Up Party, I asked her what she's going to dress up as. Her response?<br /><br />"A fighting princess. Like Princess Leia, when she was shooting at stuff!"<br /><br />I'm very proud. &hearts;<br /><br />(This reminds me that our DVD player broke at the beginning of the summer. When we got a new one a few weeks ago, my daughters wanted to watch Star Wars - the original movies, obviously - Red Dwarf and Invader Zim.
