But before getting to the recs, I must do a little whining because it has turned COLD!!!! No snow of course, just chill that freezes you slowly! Also I am all aches and pains... I absolutely cannot wait for tonight and a big warm bath!

Anyway, I can now point you towards another reason I've been absent: buttersideup's Essay on Season 7 (it's also our first post in lateseasonlove - and yes that does mean that posting is open). She'd written tonnes of notes, but was all fed up with trying to knock them into shape, so I begged asked her very nicely to send them my way. I had loads of fun sorting it out - it was like getting a big jigsaw puzzle and carefully building it (rather than having to make all the pieces myself!). Of course my brain then went off on a tangent and I added a couple of Spuffy thoughts. Yes I am a sad obsessive fangirl...

Oh and the other thing I wanted to mention was that eyesthatslay has posted a batch of Chosen icons. Beautiful, heartbreaking and fabulous! ::points to new icon::

There was other stuff I was going to talk about, but I'd better go be useful for a while since the baby is asleep.
