It does EXACTLY what it says on the tin. Which is maybe why I enjoy it so much (a noble young king and loyal knights in armour (or... not) and beautiful queens and princesses and evil magicians and wise old men and Merlin and Arthur Looking At Each Other Significantly. Just... so very pretty. All story, no meta. It's like... fantasy candyfloss. With dragons: Nothing wrong with that * g * Sometimes candyfloss is exactly what's called for. Though anything that's written primarily for boys to stare prettily at each other is not really for me . . . but better not to admit as such too loudly or I'm sure the LJ police will be around to throw me out ; )
I should probably watch Skyfall first. And read Reichenbach Falls. Pfffttt-- Details.
And lots of nodding to all your Bond-y thoughts. *g* (Heee! Pun not intended, but very much enjoyed!) Pun has gone over my head I'm afraid.
