Half an hour...

We had spam fritters for tea, and for our dessert we'll have Battenburg. I feel so British I can't even...

ETA: Episode gooood. (And... unexpected.) Thoughts later.

Advice for anyone planning to watch it: Stay away from spoilers.

I have no idea what either of those things are but they sound british!

and because I am a dork, I read that you had spam filters for tea. Which almost made sense, but didn't

That Battenberg looks home-made and yummy.

(Spam fritters always gave me a headache, though.)

We watched earlier; tea time. Right on cue, as the show started- the heaven's opened up. Tim said, "see, even the weather's appropriate for the premiere!"

Oooh; that looks yummy.

And loved New Who! Not that I can articulate anything profound.

Fortunately, I'm not spoilergic.

Unfortunately, I'm feeling a bit inclined to with the critics this time. Problem is, there's a definite crowd of "Moffat must not be criticized" on Tumblr, and I'm not in the best place to actively disagree. So I'm here.

Sorry.
