(Kathy is my beta and also a very talented icon maker. Dunno what I'd do without her.) It was for my big Spike/Buffy/Angel fic. (They're my OT3. It started with Spuffy, and then Spangel and then I realised that Buffy/Angel could work if you brought Spike in. *draws hearts*)
YAY!! I will be reading fic soon. Porn wants to invade my headspace right now. It always does. Damned porns...*is secretly happy* LOL. I've only ever written two porny fics, and probably will never write any more cause they're SUCH A PAIN. I mean, they were good, but it's a lot of work. (One was Spike/Dawn and incredibly disturbing, and I'm ridiculously proud of it, and the other was a re-write of As You Were which included Spike/Buffy/Angel. Keeping everyone in character & the storyline more or less intact. I even had a banner made and it cracks me up to this day. ANYWAY. Porn good, but awkward.)
LOL!! Thee and me! I used to holler about how my Doctor Is Gen, Dammit. This...changed. I hate my Musie. Not really, but sometimes, yeah. Hit me with it! My change was gradual. It started as a giggle, then broadsided me like a mac truck. Got caught in my own trap...dammit. Hate it when a good joke blows up in your face. Heeee. For me it started with Reinette and all that dancing. Half my flist was sobbing over POOR ROSE, whereas I was cackling because the Doctor got laid... Which didn't quite fit with my general view of him as asexual (and I don't think he'd EVER go there with a Companion, due to the imbalances in their relationship), but I think if it's a strong independent woman, who's his equal in some measure, then yes. Maybe. If things are right. So in my headcanon Ten lost his virginity to Reinette, and then later slept with Liz I. Eleven lost his to Marilyn. (Doctor/Marilyn/River is totally canon btw. and I feel SO VINDICATED!) Anyways, it was Doctor/River which blew all the asexual stuff to smithereens, because - well. (Post here.)
GUH. Not my personal ship, but a lot of my flisty wrotes phenomenal Eleven/River. So I read and enjoy anyway, lol! Having an open mind is GOOD!
My ship is...odd and slightly twisted. And to think at one point I felt like this about it all. *laughs* Oh, you should have seen my worries about Spike/Dawn. Soooo twisted. Far, far worse than defiling a national treasure. But oh, I hear you. Once upon a time I didn't even like slash... I tend to just blame fandom for corrupting me.

As for X-Overs - I has a few. Kinda like them myself if they are done right. SuperWhoBigBang just ended and there were quite a few awesome ones I pimped at my Eljay. GUH. Love a good X-Over!! Re. x-overs, then my major one is my Buffy/Torchwood one, where Capt Jack is The Immortal (of The Girl In Question fame). You cannot argue against this fact, I have 100,000+ words of canon that aligns perfectly. No really. Everything fits. Besides - who else was The Immortal going to be? *g*
