Takes the concept of the guilt-inducing Christmas letter to a whole new level, that does.

In fact, it would be a rather nice fandom project to write a typical Christmas letter from the Doctor!

Guilt inducing? Huh, that never struck me. (Mostly I'm thinking that I could watch the-Doctor-about-to-die-and-saying-goodbye for absolutely ever. He does it so beautifully. <3)

Although your thought is a brilliant one - someone should do it!
