This is probably the meat of why I disagree with you. It already happened (via the TARDIS exploding through someone's interferance). That was what the Pandorica was trying to prevent. It's unconnected with the Plains. That event will be something different, and be a second attempt by whoever tried to destroy the TARDIS. (I can see why you think the Doctor will cause it; it's a point I'm wavering on now after thinking over it more. But it won't be the cause of the cracks, etc. That plotline is closed.)

So, I think we'll just have to agree to disagree. :)
