I love the chess mataphor. I love the comparisons to Buffy. I really really love all the references back to what had come before. And I still feel like I've only scratched the surface. I can name a MILLION things I didn't include...
BBCA was showing "Flesh and Stone" tonight and it was amazing to watch the interaction between River and the Doctor in light of what we now know! And especially to see River's protectiveness toward Amy. I so need to re-watch EVERYTHING. *happy sigh*
And I've been thinking all week about secrets and spoilers, and we may yet see River in the next series... Oh I ABSOLUTELY think so. Maybe not as much as S6, since she won't be at the centre of thing, but still. RIVER! Wouldn't be DW without her! She's HIS WIFE after all... *collapses into heap of happy joy*
