I love the chess mataphor. I love the comparisons to Buffy. I really really love all the references back to what had come before.
BBCA was showing "Flesh and Stone" tonight and it was amazing to watch the interaction between River and the Doctor in light of what we now know! And especially to see River's protectiveness toward Amy. And I've been thinking all week about secrets and spoilers, and we may yet see River in the next series...
