And THEN we'd have the Ponds (one or more of them) fix things, because just changing Kazran didn't actually help the overall situation! \o/ Yes! THAT!!! Fixing Kazran was just the thing that freed everybody up so that the actual saving of the day could take place. Because he was the one that was arbitrarily trying to keep control of the whole situation and thus, actually, preventing day-saving from happening. (I just love the idea that the Doctor's tricking himself--I think it goes a long way to justify/balance out a lot of his behavior.)
