She might not have older Amy's mad skillz, but she will remember the core of strength that drove the older Amy to survive, when a lot of people would have just let the robots get them. Those memories will become part of Amy's self-knowledge (for better or worse), and someday, when she needs to be strong, she'll be able to draw on them.
I love this excessively. It's been bothering me that Rory basically got to "keep" his time as a badass fighter in his memories to be able to draw on, but that Amy has a loose hers, and I've been wondering a bit about how the finale might somehow involve older Amy coming back or younger Amy recalling her somehow and integrating that aspect of herself back into her (perhaps with her magical timecrack head). What you've said at least gives her a metaphorical way of drawing that Amy back out, or could even conceivably give her a way to do it literally.
