Someone did ask Moff about this on Twitter (or, more accurately, demanded that the Doctor go back and pull her out) and the answer was that it was impossible: she was just an echo stored on the neural relay, not a full, living person like the ones who were transported.

Personally this makes me happy since I don't want her ending messed with (not that I thought Moff would, but confirmation is nice). Eminently ignorable for the purposes of fic, though, for anyone who just has to have that fix-it.
