I have been looking for an analysis that looks into the god-like characteristics of Doctor. Well you're in luck, because not only is there this behemoth, I am currently working on another essay on the same theme, very much tapping into the exact things you're pulling out here: How Ten is Christ-like, but Eleven mythological. And whilst this might not be deliberate on the part of the writers, those are definitely the patterns the characters fall into.
and I also think that Jesus Christ is a Trickster figure in Christianity. I shall have to polite disagree with this very much, but am much too tired to start a proper discussion, only observe that yes, that Jack Sparrow might exhibit both characteristics, but that does not mean it works 'backwards', as it were. Anyway, I'll go into all this in my meta-to-come, so you'll see what I mean then. :)
