Absolutely. It feels like Egypt and the Middle East rippling out are on a precipice. I am moved beyond words and also scared. What the outcome of this could mean for other Middle Eastern Countries, including Palastine and Isreal is potentially catastrophic.
But the hope in these people! As an American I look at my country's support of this totalitarian regime for the last 30 years and ask God for forgiveness, and the strength as a country to stand up for what is right instead of what is easy. Because what is easy is the subjugation of the Egyptian people in the name of stability in the Middle East. This is no small thing. We have to be willing to say that a firestorm in the Middle East is a preferable outcome versus continued oppression of our Egyptian sisters and brothers. I am praying that they know that we are with them in their amazing peaceful, unified struggle for freedom.

My heart is so full.
