Being Human, 3.1.
Finally managed to watch it, and my most overwhelming emotion is THANK YOU! There is still one issue that I'm waiting to see how they'll tackle, but my biggest gripe with the end of S2 was tackled head-on, without pulling any punches, and yeah, I loved it!
It also amused me that clearly *someone* has watched Buffy - is that a Spike-clone I spy? Also RHYS!!!! HELLO RHYS!!! Does your wife know that you're out dogging? *laughs* I thought I'd miss Bristol, but Wales will do, oh yes. It's like my second home. :)
Anyway, George and Nina were adorbz, Annie was still in damsel mode (rather inevitably, so I'm not too bothered) and Mitchell... Oh Mitchell. I worked out H12, just before he opened that last door, and I could have kissed the TV for making him admit that it was no one's fault but his own, and that he enjoyed it. Like I said: THANK YOU! Liked Lia too, she worked very well. And, actually, I'm beginning to see why they brought Herrick back. Still deeply dislike the 'how', but if we're going to be looking into Mitchell's past it makes sense. Also lots of nice hints about future storylines. Yay, I have a show again!
But I must run. *scurries*
ETA: Also really, really liked that when Mitchell got going with the guilt & responsibility (I have to stay here, right? Take me to all my victims...) he swiftly got told that it wasn't all about him, and that he was needed for someone else's story. \o/
Plus, I realised that I forgot to mention Robson Green, and the v. intriguing father/son werewolf story. Hope this goes somewhere good. *crosses fingers*

And I deeply disliked the faux Spike clone, for reasons that aren't really BH's fault. Glad he was a one-off. Otherwise, I agree with you.

I'm willing to wait and see, and am hoping he was brought back for a specific purpose.

It made me laugh, but yeah, glad he was dusted. He was a bit... over the top.
*crosses fingers for future episodes*

Ah yes, I have that problem too.
I've been trying not to spoil myself but I'm getting the impression it was good, yes?
It was pretty good yes. One part especially was punch-the-air awesome! :)

Looked more like Johnny Rotten to me.
I was worried about the move from Bristol but it worked much better than I expected. I guessed H12 too :)

OMG THANK YOU! I knew he rang a bell, but I couldn't pin it down. (That first outfit was still pure Spike though.)

Yay for shows (and us) being awesome! \o/

I love Being Human, but can't get BBC Three unless I switch to digital, and the iPlayer doesn't work in my region so...how long before the DVD's out, do you think?

Oh dear. Well it's worth waiting for! And I promise to cut - I'm a spoiler phobe myself...
No idea when the DVDs will be out, sorry. A few months at the very least, I should think.

Though I love the accents!
I love Mitchell having to face his past and his actions. The WWI soldier (Arthur?) that he killed and how he increasingly became more violent and disconnected from humanity was well done. It needed to be said too; I hope that's not the last we see of Mitchell having to grow up. It also makes a very interesting contrast to the Buffy-verse vampires and souls & guilt.
I suspect I know were we're headed with George and Nina, and I'm not sure I like the ideas. Hmm!
But the one-off vamp dressed like Spike (and no way was that an accident!) was clever. Glad he was a one off, but it made me snicker.

Same here! And the accent seems so homely. :)

It does, doesn't it? And there's no cure, no way of making Mitchell safe forever. (Love the addiction metaphor. It's wonderful.)

Well it can't be worse than George's story last year. (I don't enjoy people being complete idiots, no matter how compelling the story.)

I almost squee'd out loud!
