/grins/ The Angels scene. I caught it during my second watch - one moment, Doctor's lost his jacket to the Angels. Next, he's putting his hands over Amy's (huh?) and talking to her, and wearing that jacket.
Discontinuity, or something more?
And then it turns out to be the rewind. Moffat, you boggle me sometimes.
After F&S I immediatley went and watched Eleventh Hour again, because I wanted to know what she was supposed to remember; no wonder I didn't find it! :D Amazing.

I read both of the reviews you quoted from. :) Yeah.

One of these days I need to verbalize my ideas on Ten's and Eleven's regenerations... /hums/

Bye-bye, Pond. -heart breaks-

Happy!Amy is so sweet! Love her! She's still had at least a -bit- of torment in her life (she obviously still saw the psychiatrists about the Doctor, given her mother's words), but as a whole she is so, SO much happier. She's not alone anymore. <3

Oh, and Rory. Did I mention? I love Rory. I want a Rory. Can I have a Rory? Are you just saying yes because you're afraid of me? Yep. Oh, I want a Rory.

In Amy’s choice both scenarios could have been real, and in the end neither was. The Big Bang mirrors this perfectly - there is the ‘ordinary life’, with the wedding, and the ‘extraordinary’ one, once contained in River’s Diary. And Amy chooses - both.

Ooh, nice catch, I -like- that one. Best of both worlds, yeah? And the foreshadowing of the Angels... /whistles softly/ I'm kind of reminded of another bit you pointed out from back in season four. In one of your metas you noted the parallels between Agatha Christie and Donna - both upset from the loss of their husband (well, almost-husband), and completely demoralized. Just a temp from Chiswick, and just a shoddy writer. And in the end, they both lose their memories. Crazy how much foreshadowing in that.

And then with the Angels, always the Angels. I start to wonder if Moffat's ideas think for themselves. (/grins/ And the time is upon us, is it not?)

Eleven. Dancing. YES. Ooh, you can quote The Lodger for the entire episode. None of us were expecting this; I vote we all jubiliantly yell it to the world!

The Doctor lies, River lies, everybody lies, everybody tells stories, and everybody lives. <3

Oh, this is just Christmas. (I wish.)

MR LUX: And who is the Doctor?
RIVER: The only story you'll ever tell - if you survive him.

See, there's that RIDICULOUS Moffat foreshadowing again! Story, story, story! <3 How does he DO that?

And it's all a beautiful fairy tale and the prince gets the princess and they marry happily ever after and go flying away with their imaginary friend in a little blue box. /melts/

Sigh... Bliss.

Now, if you'll excuse me. I've a River oneshot to self-beta and post, episodes to re-re-re-re-watch, fanfic to read, and much more to be doing - I love Sundays; nothing happens, so I can do whatever I like! Ha!
