Its obvious that you know these characters very well.
Well I have been obsessed for... going on 6 years now, so it's not surprising. ;) What's amazing is that they don't stop being fascinating!

far to often, when someone writes abot them, they change them, especially Spike, in a way that makes me go "hey! that's not my vampire! get real!!" But with your work it's more like "Hello Spike. Wow, you changed. please sit down and have a coffee with me, and tell me everything that's been going on in your life since i last saw you!"
You have no idea how happy that makes me! Above everything I love character exploration/development, and for that to work it is very important to get them just right. So whenever someone tells me I managed it I fell all glowy! :)

It is so rich in sweet and sore detail that it really sticks with me:sigh: I'm so glad I found it again.
