Is anyone else melting?

It's too hot. I don't like it when it's too hot. *sigh* I was going to do this lovely long post about the seaside wedding we went to yesterday, possibly including a non-related rant about last week's episode of House (why oh why oh why can't people write nuns realistically??? By the time the schmaltzy Christmas montage came up at the end I was ready to throw stuff at the TV).

Otherwise I'm in the process of friending people back and setting up filters, but I think I'll have to take a break and do a tiny bit of housework... two days of illness and a fortnight's hard work is ruined! But we're having people visiting next week, so hopefully I'll be spurred into action at some point.

Absolutely melting, and only partly from all those conference reports and pictures of James Marsters. Sorry the housework's getting you down. The wedding sounds very exciting though - bet they were pleased by the weather!

Yep, I'm too hot. Had to take my old washing machine to the dump today and install the new one - in the outside utility room which is tiny and hot and oh, did I say hot? The sun is lovely in theory.....but, can it come with an on/off switch please so that I can do stuff when it's cool. As it is, I'm sitting in some questionable shorts and a tatty vest top with an enormous fan wafting the warm air around. I don't think we Brits do heat very well.

And as [livejournal.com profile] frimfram said - pictures of James aren't helping with the keeping the temperature down. Yum! A seaside wedding? Very interesting, I'd like to hear more. Sorry to hear you've been feeling sickly, hope you're on the mend.

We are not too terribly hot - 25*C here this afternoon. S2C was meant to be sleeping ready for work, but I think the heat may have had a hand in waking him, whilst D-d and I spent the afternoon at the wildlife park, so I am sympathetic to anyone doing heavy household related things!!

It's been warm here, but there's a bit of a breeze so it hasn't been completely unbearable. I don't like it when it's too hot either but this was about within my tolerance range. Any hotter though and I will start to melt.

I like House but when I realised I was watching a Christmas episode in July I started to turn off and nuns just added to the unreality. Hugh Laurie does do the unshaven snark awfully well though...

Don't go overdoing it, what with the heat and the bump and the just getting over being ill. I think you're entitled to slob a bit, given the circumstances :)
