kathyh isn't just a brilliant beta-reader, she's also a fantastic icon-maker. After last weeks Dr Who I finally felt the need for a Doctor icon and she made me this one!

Isn't it brilliant? I don't think it's too spoilery - I did worry a bit, but it's so unspecific that I think I can get away with it. ::pets new icon::
Oh and it's very sharable - as long as you remember to credit Kathy! (Very important!!!)
Sorry I've been so quiet and non-update-y. School's started again and I'm busy ferrying children about and getting up early in the morning... was wondering the other day why I felt so knackered all the time, since I didn't remember being this tired last time I was pregnant. Then it dawned on me, that last time I only had *one* child to look after, and at the time she was only 2 and didn't do much except go to her playgroup - no long treks to school etc.
And speaking of children, it's Impish Girl's 4th birthday on Sunday (I can't believe it! She's my little baby!), so I'll be even busier... although I will probably post Chapter 13 of 'Maybe Someday' tomorrow. It's gorgeous isn't it? It was a fairly simple idea, but she took it and made it really work. Wondering why that scene was so very powerful, I think it probably had something to do with seeing RotS just beforehand. Because Anakin's em... 'reaction' to loosing Padme was so OTT and The Doctor was just so incredibly understated and powerful in contrast. *sigh*
Thank you for the hugs and the Birthday wishes - the warm weather contributes to the former but will hopefully make possible a nice garden party. :)

Children usually start school when they're 4-5 years old. The younger one will start nursery in the autum, then 'proper' school at Easter time (next year obviously).
The spell checker is a funny thing - but it does catch most of my mistypes!

It's a 'new' thing and the school isn't actually all that happy about it. It used to be that all children started Reception (kindergarten - the year before Year 1) in the Autumn, but the system's now changed and there's intake three times a year, depending on Birthday: Autumn, New Year and Easter. So Impish Gilr will only have one term in Reception before she starts Year One. Thankfully I've got her into a Nursery in September, so she'll have some 'schooling' anyway. :)
